Our story
Working in Canada
In 2020, NGE sent a team of experts to explore opportunities in Canada. They quickly identified significant prospects for contributing their expertise to the North American market.
Canada’s expansive geography and low population density had historically led to a reliance on diesel transportation. However, the country is now poised to embrace greener public transportation solutions, particularly in densely populated regions like Toronto and its surroundings. This shift gave our teams unique opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge and carve out a vital role in the North American rail industry.
The decision to focus on railways at this first stage was a strategic move for NGE: Railways play a critical role in transporting goods and people across the country, and there is a growing demand for infrastructure improvements in Canada. By leveraging its railway construction and engineering expertise through its specialized subsidiary TSO, NGE is well-positioned to help meet this demand and contribute to the growth and development of Canada’s railway network.
NGE Canada brings together a team of experienced professionals who deeply understand the transportation and railway industry. With their knowledge and expertise, they deliver high-quality projects that meet the needs of clients and stakeholders alike.
